• Access and navigate LaunchPoint; check patients in/out and assign them to yourself.
• Assign beds and access key areas of the chart, including the Universal Window.
• Complete documentation tasks: pre-arrival, triage, ED assessment, EKG, POC glucose, NIH Stroke Scale, and medication administration.
• Complete the patient checkout process.
• Locate patient information (Banner Bar, ED SBAR, ED Summary) and navigate IView, MAR, IV Lines MPage, and orders.
• Review vitals, meds, labs, imaging, tasks, and comments from LaunchPoint.
• View, filter, and sort patients; update team color and identify alerts or overdue vitals.
• Write notes, add addendums, access protocols, and place RN protocol orders.
