About this Course: This course is intended to educate the urgent care provider on topics including neurology, chest pain, pulmonary and dermatology. Material includes proper examination techniques, redflags for emergency symptoms necessitating ED transfer, and proper referral for outpatient management.

- Define the urgent care provider’s role in determining emergent neurological complaints and best method of transfer to ED
- Define urgent care role in evaluating traumatic head injury, c-spine injury and clearance, and blunt thoracic and abdominal trauma
- Demonstrate a proper chest, lung, skin, and neurological exam
- Demonstrate an understanding of preferred imaging choices for treatment of chest pain and pulmonary complaints, skin complaints, and neurologic complaints
- Demonstrate an understanding of the diagnostic criteria for imaging of blunt head injuries in children and adults
