LoveYourBrain Yoga for Health Professionals Training
Friday-Sunday, September 25-27, 2026
Description
This interactive, 20-hour training equips clinicians with skills, confidence, and best practices to safely integrate evidence-based adaptive yoga, breathwork, and trauma-informed mindfulness into brain injury care. Designed for clinicians working across in/outpatient settings, the course bridges neuroscience, rehabilitation principles, and mind-body practices to support whole-person recovery after ABI. Emphasis is placed on how yoga-based tools can be adapted for key ABI-specific considerations--cognitive and sensory changes, autonomic dysregulation, fatigue, emotional regulation, hemiparesis, balance and postural control challenges, and pain--across stages of recovery and functional levels. Trainees experience a blend of didactic and experiential modules, including live mindfulness and breathwork practices, adaptive chair/mat yoga classes, hands-on practice teaching in small groups, case studies, Q&A, and facilitated breakout sessions focused on clinical application, interdisciplinary collaboration, and peer learning. Graduates earn LoveYourBrain Yoga Certification and fulfill requirements for delivering the LoveYourBrain LoveYourBrain Yoga program in clinical settings across North America.
