Speaker Lucia (Lu-chi-a) Barlipp is a respiratory therapist with 14 years of clinical experience spanning neonatal and pediatric intensive care, ECMO, trauma, and geriatric populations. Currently serving as a multisite respiratory educator, she leads several key committees focused on clinical practice and education. Ms. Barlipp has successfully implemented the first clinical ladder for respiratory therapy at her current institution, advancing professional development within the department. Holding a master’s degree in information technology with a specialization in Project Management, she is deeply committed to process improvement and measurable outcomes. Her overarching goal is to elevate the respiratory therapy profession through continuous innovation, leadership, and dedication to excellence.
