Role of Speech-Language Pathologists and Feeding in the Special Care Nursery Description The purpose of this course is to deepen clinicians' understanding of the vital role Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) play in the Special Care Nursery (SCN). Participants will gain insight into the assessment and treatment strategies specific to this unique setting, with a focus on the critical factors that influence care. Additionally, the course will address common barriers to implementing best practices and provide evidence-based solutions to effectively overcome these challenges, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in the SCN.
