Description
This content will describe the collaboration between SLP and the Pulmonary service in optimizing patient care. It will give an overview of pulmonary disease with obstructive and restrictive lung disease. The course will review descriptive pulmonary terminology found in radiographic reports and its significance. It will highlight the collaboration between SLP and the pulmonary service with specific respiratory, voice, and swallowing disorders and also discuss the connection between bronchiectasis and aspiration.

Sherry Murphy, PA-C has been a Physician Assistant for 21 years and has worked in pulmonology since 2007. She has been working mainly inpatient at MedStar Franklin Square Hospital and has also worked at MedStar Harbor Hospital.
