This refresher course is designed for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in the MedStar Washington Hospital Center Emergency Department to reinforce and advance point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) skills. The session provides hands-on practice with key emergency ultrasound applications, including the FAST exam, cardiac, thoracic, abdominal, vascular assessments, and ultrasound-guided intravenous (IV) access. APPs will review image acquisition techniques, interpretation, and integration of findings into clinical decision-making. Faculty-led instruction will ensure learners strengthen confidence, accuracy, and efficiency in bedside ultrasound use.
