Description
This course is designed for the Physical Therapist Assistant as an introduction to the treatment of patients with neurological disorders. The course will start with a general review of the typical physical therapist evaluation, identify what is important information (tests and measures), and identify how to implement this information into treatment.

Stacey Davis, PTA, CLT, PTA Mentor, LSVT with a Bachelors in Communications. Stacy was certified as a Lymphedema Therapist in 2016, Cancer rehab certified in 2018 and LSVT Big certified in 2023. She has primarily worked in outpatient Orthopedics treating amputee's, post-op joints, CVA's, TBI's, cancer, lymphedema, other neurological conditions and work hardening. Stacey has 4 years’ experience in acute care as well. For the past 3 years Stacey has functioned as a New Hire PTA Mentor for MedStar North as well as CI to multiple students a year.
