This course offers Continuing Professional Education credits to Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). To claim the credits, the course must be completed prior to December 31, 2026. Once your evaluation is complete, log on to CloudCME® from your left SiTEL menu, and toggle to your Transcript to find the credits.

- May 5, 2026: This course date offers 5.5 Continuing Professional Education credits to APPs.
- May 12, 2026: This course date offers 3.75 Continuing Professional Education credits to APPs.
- May 19, 2026: This course date offers 4.25 Continuing Professional Education credits to APPs.
The maximum credits available to learners who attend all 3 course dates is 13.5 credits.
About this Course: This course is designed as a simulation training for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) within MedStar Health’s primary care entities. The content will focus on diseases routinely managed in an outpatient setting. This in-person simulation program covers clinical situations APPs will encounter in a primary care office.
Accreditation - In support of improving patient care, MedStar Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
Credit Designation - This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive 13.5 Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) credits for learning and change.
