Speaker Nacime Salomao Barbachan Mansur, MD, PhD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery. He cares for patients with a wide range of foot and ankle conditions— from bunions and toe deformities, to performing complex total ankle replacement and reconstructive procedures. Dr. Mansur treats younger individuals with sports and athletic-related foot or ankle injuries as well as older patients who require treatment for chronic issues. Dr. Mansur applies minimally invasive techniques while performing complex ankle surgeries. Additionally, he uses patient-specific instrumentation to develop customized implants for patients undergoing reconstructive surgery. Dr. Mansur conducts clinical research that aims to advance foot and ankle care, and advocates for patient participation in clinical trials.
